The Beginning
Pushaz was founded in Los Angeles, coming directly out of the city’s music and street culture. Around the same time, YG established Pu$haz Ink with DJ Mustard as a music collective/label.

2009
Music Starts Moving
YG’s early music gained traction online and he signed with Def Jam, helping bring more attention to the Pushaz name and the movement surrounding it.
2010 - 2012
Building the Identity
Pushaz continued developing through LA’s underground music scene, with the name representing the crew, lifestyle, and idea of continually “pushing” forward. YG has described Pushaz as the clique and foundation where everything started.
2014
My Krazy Life Era
YG’s My Krazy Life era brought worldwide attention to the LA sound and culture that Pushaz grew from. Pushaz LA still directly references the influence of this era in its current brand story.
2015 - 2016
Transition
As YG, Mustard, and others pursued separate ventures, the original Pushaz Ink music-label concept faded. YG transitioned toward the 4Hunnid brand/label, but Pushaz continued as its own LA-rooted identity.
2017–2020
Keeping the Legacy Alive
Pushaz remained tied to its original Los Angeles street and music culture, with the brand continuing to emphasize authenticity and local identity.
2021–2025
Pushaz LA Evolution
The clothing side developed further around heavyweight garments, recognizable graphics, Old English typography, and references to LA street culture.
2026
Flagship Era
Pushaz LA introduced its 2026 Flagship Collection, bringing back classic Pushaz imagery alongside newer designs such as the Flagship Logo Tee, Hometown Heroes pieces, Old English sweats, and Parking Lot Pimpin tee. The brand describes itself as still rooted in the same authenticity, quality, community, and LA culture it began with in 2008.
